25 3月 THERE’s a lot of pollen in the air lately
finally its getting hot in japan!!!!!!
I am really happy that winter is gone almost but instead of that i have hay fever.
i have a runny nose and itchy eyes..
In japan cedar pollen spread a lot in spring so i always put a mask on when i go out so that i do not breathe pollen in.
you can see people who put a mask on in this season. hahaha
When i was writing this blog i thought how many people has hay fever in this world and it says in website
“Statistics show that 10% to 30% of the world population suffers from hay fever”
That’s a lot and the shitty thing about hay fever is that it’s hard to avoid. It’s not like a food that you can just cut out of your diet, the stuff that causes hay fever is all around us in the air….hahaha
That’s why i take a medicine all the time and now Of course, you can go to the doctor if you suffer from hay fever and get antihistamines, these reduce or block histamines, so they basically stop the allergy symptoms.Antihistamine is one of the most prescribed medicine in the world. But they come with a bunch of side effects.
Common side effects of antihistamines include:
- Drowsiness or sleepiness
- Dry mouth, nose, or throat
- Changes in vision
- Feeling nervous or irritable
Not so cool if you ask me. One of the things that is recommended for people with hay fever is to stay inside with the windows closed, but that’s never really been an option for me.I already go crazy if i am inside too much and especially when the sun is out. Too much of an outdoors person I’m afraid and that’s why I go for other solutions!!!!
Anyway It is also that Cherry Blossoms is going to bloom soon:)
I am super excited and planning on having a nice meal and drinking under the Cherry Blossoms with friends.
